Creative Sketchbook

Visual Journalling as a daily creativity practice

My creative sketchbook is a way to explore the mysteries of my soul, my spirit journey, and a connection to my heart. This is where I weave dreams, explore my desires, create ideas and forge pathways.

The most important thing I have gained from keeping a creative journal has been having an everyday creative play space to explore freely. This has led me to discover hidden dreams and longings, create new ways of working that are more in alignment with my values.   own little hiding place made for mischief and secrets. Just as easy to set up as to take down.

Everyone can benefit from keeping a creative sketchbook. This is a place to document your life, work out creative and life challenges, to put dreams to paper and investigate your inner life.

Visual journalling is about our creative process and a way to examine our inner beliefs and longings on the page.

When I first started this practice, I was concerned about whether I was creative enough and whether I could keep up with the content. I learnt quickly that everyone is creative and visual journalling is a super simple way to explore colour and art materials in a safe process. Our visual journal can be as private as we like, we may not want to share our work, this is our inner sanctum.

For those of you who think you are not creative…this work is for you! I used to think the same way until I learned I am!

I have supported many others who also have these thoughts. We are all made to create, all children are freely creative until they are told they are not. Our creative selves need as much encouragement and practice as our physical bodies.

I will show you step by step how to begin a creative process, it is much easier than you may think.

Join me in this creative voyage, I will walk beside you as you begin your creative journal adventure, sharing the discoveries of how to play creatively and create your own world on paper.
